Apple iPhone is still going on, Apple announces the new
Apple iPod touch which looks
very much like a slimmed down Apple iPhone. The Apple iPod
touch is a multi-media player for music, videos, photos and web
browsing, available in 8GB and 16GB.
The Apple iPod touch has exactly the same input
method as the Apple iPhone - the multi-touch. This new amazing
technology lets you control everything using only your fingers.
You can type using the predictive keyboard, glide through albums
with Cover Flow, scroll through photos with a flick, or zoom in
and out on a section of a web page.
The 8GB Apple iPod touch holds up to 1,750 songs
in 128-Kbps AAC format or 10,000 iPod-viewable photos or 10
hours of video while the 16GB Apple iPod touch holds up to 3,500
songs or 20,000 photos or 20 hours of video. With the 3.5-inch
widescreen display, you can enjoy your favorite videos and show
your pictures to everyone clearly at 480-by-320-pixel resolution
at 163 pixels per inch.
